Yes.
We pay more for fuel in the uk than nearly all other countries in Europe.
Its not just pushing up the cost of owning a car, high fuel taxes will increase transportation costs for supermarkets etc which will result in higher food costs.

Raising fuel duty is not a good idea in my opinion, how can Gordon Brown expect us to put up with no support from the government during this credit crunch and still vote for them in the next election?
