Quality & reliability
The cabin and loadbay look like they are built to last a lifetime of wear and tear. All the engines in the range are mechanically very well built and designed. The materials used in the cabin are also classy with a durable feel. As with all Volvo's, servicing is not the cheapest, but dealers have an excellent record.
Safety & security
The XC70 continues the Volvo fantastic reputation for safety. The cars anti-whiplash & side-impact protection systems are first class. An optional Blind Spot Information System can be fitted to inform you of nearby cars.
Space & practicality
We think the XC70 is big and clever. It has an enormous rear load area, but also neat luggage nets. A great addition is the hooks and straps that prevent your shopping from being thrown all over the boot - very well thought. The rear seat also splits 40/20/40 and can include built-in child booster seats if requested.
