Performance
Buyers can pick from two petrol engines, the first a 168bhp 2.4, the second a 227bhp 2.5. The 2.5 is slightly quicker, but will cost you more to run. The diesel options are also good. Diesel owners can pick from a 2.0-litre or the older D5 engine. The 2.0-litre is cheaper to buy and more frugal. The D5 model however offers stronger performance.
Refinement
The C70 is a great refined cruiser, that features a well designed metal folding roof. If you press a button for 30 seconds to lower the roof, it then turns into a quiet and almost wind-free convertible.
