Ride & handling
A low-travel suspension helps keeps body movement under control, as a result the C30 easily copes with twisty control roads. As a result the ride is quite firm, however has a very sporty feel. The steering has a well weighted feel and quick to respond.
Quality & reliability
The C30 is Volvo's smallest car, however it still has plenty of fittings. Dense, soft-touch plastics make up the upper dashboard, all switches operate with precision with a very high quality feel. Volvo also has a very good reliability record, the C30 should not let you down.
Safety & security
Volvo is designed for safety, the C30 is reported to perform just as well as the larger models in the case of an accident, this is despite the fact of having a significantly shorter rear overhang to cope with rear shunts.
Equipment
Every C30 comes fitted with climate control, MP3 stereo, electric front windows + alloy wheels. If you go for the SE model, this adds steering wheel-mounted stereo controls, a higher quality upholstery + cruise control. The SE Lux also adds leather seats, heated front seats & power-folding mirrors.
