| Vectra CDTi SRI 150PS Hatchback Information |
Behind every race car is a great road car. Winner of both the Manufacturers' and Drivers' titles at the 2007 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, Vectra is just as exciting on the road as it is on the track. With high levels of performance and refinement, Vectra hatchback, saloon and estate models exude confidence and attitude. Dramatic styling, great driving dynamics and generous levels of equipment all combine to set new standards of comfort and control. The car's chassis is entirely in tune with UK roads and with a powerful engine line-up that includes V6 petrol turbo performance, alongside advanced common rail turbo diesel technology, Vectra is rewarding to drive in every sense.

| Vectra CDTi SRI 150PS Hatchback Review |
This is an original & impartial Vauxhall - Vectra CDTi SRI 150PS Hatchback review, compiled by the team at car contract hire online
.
Refinement
This is probably Vauxhall's greatest success with the new Vectra. The absence of significant noise is hugely impressive, and makes the cabin a hushed place until you are well above the UK speed limit. Even the engines stay in the background until revved hard, and all the controls, with the exception of the gearlever, move with slick precision.
Quality & reliability
Soft-touch dash plastics and nicely damped controls are the order of the day. Vauxhalls usually have a decent reliability record, so there should be few worries on that score.
Behind the wheel
The Vectra comes with a two-way adjustable steering wheel and a driver’s seat that moves for both height and angle, so anyone should be able to get comfortable. The ventilation controls are nice and simple, but the stereo has too many fiddly, poorly marked buttons.
Space & practicality
The Vectra is big without reaching the proportions of class giants, such as the Ford Mondeo. It’s a true five-seater, although six-foot passengers will find rear knee room a bit limited. Both four- and five-door models have a large boot.
