Ride & handling
Seat Altea is a tall hatchback that provides fantastic handling. The Altea is based on the latest VW Golf platform. As a result the Altea exhibits good body control on all surfaces. We also found that the Seat provides a very comfortable ride which makes it a good motoway cruiser.
Quality & reliability
The Altea's cabin is well built and designed. The materials used seem hard-wearing and of a good quality. The Altea's features many of VW mechanicals, these are all proven from use in other VW cars, so should not let you down.
Safety & security
All Alteas include anti-lock brakes & stability control. This should help to keep the car on the road even in slippery corners. Also fitted is twin front, side & curtain airbags. Space & practicality
Seat calls the Altea a MSV (multi-sports vehicle). The rear seats include a 60/40 split rear bench, this will provide handy for extra storage. If you opt for the the XL model, this is 18.7cm longer than the standard Altea, included is extra legroom and a larger boot.
