Refinement
The petrol engines are very quiet, the diesel options are slightly louder if pushed. If you are stuck in heavy traffic or cruising along on the motorway, road noise is rarely noticeable. The engine roar only really noticed when going at high speed.
Safety & security
The Saab 9-5 was awarded maximum 5/5 award in Euro NCAP’s crash tests. As you would expect, safety kit is good, included: stability control & twin front and side airbags.
Space & practicality
There is loads of room in the back of the 9-5. The boot is also a very good size, will easily cope with holiday luggage. You can easily fit three adults across the rear seating row. If you require extra boot space these seats split and folds flat to manage longer loads.
Equipment
The 9-5 is very well kitted out. The Linear trim includes alloy wheels, climate control, full electric windows, electric heated door mirrors + CD player. If you decide to go for the Vector model, you will also get full leather.
