Ride & handling
The Mazda 6 is a big car, but doesn't feel big to drive because Mazda has worked hard to keep its weight down. It has agile, grippy feel. The steering is light and precise. The ride is quite firm, however it makes the car feel even more sporty.
Quality & reliability
The interior looks nice a of the plastics feel cheap to the touch but the passenger gets dense, cushioned plastic. That said, Mazdas don't go wrong, the 6 as with all Mazdas wont let you down.
Safety & security
Every 6 comes with six airbags, this includes full length curtain airbags. In addition a combination of stability and traction control is also fitted along with anti-lock brakes + electronic assistance. Daytime running lights are also standard on all 6's. The alarm system also works well.
Behind the wheel
The 6's cabin has a good sporty feel, this is thanks to circular air vents, cowled dials & splashes of the metallic trim. The dash is, user friendly. Forward vision is very good. The driver's seat and steering wheel column include a wide range of adjustment settings.
