Behind the wheel
The Relay offers a great working environment with nice forward visibility and split door mirrors to give a better view of the van's lower areas, this is very useful when parking in tight spots. Electric windows & electrically adjustable mirrors are also standard. The dual passenger seat includes a handy drop-down desk unit, the Relay also comes with a CD player fitted as standard. The in-cab storage areas include 2 glove compartments, a dash-mounted document clip & a couple of open and lidded compartments in the dashboard, generous door pockets are also fitted with a storage area under the passenger seat. Also included is a 22-litre open overhead storage compartment for extra storage. The drivers seat is fairly comfortable, this can be chosen with its own suspension if required.
On the Road
The Relay is a really good drive. The mainstream versions come with either 100bhp or 120bhp engine versions of a 2.2-litre HDi dsl, the heavy duty version is also vailable with a good 160bhp 3.0-litre HDi.
Overview
Citroën has defiantly come out fighting with the latest version of the Citroen Relay. This van is a joint development with its sister-company Peugeot & Fiat, therefore all three brands effectively have a product that is equal. However, Citroën has taken the lead by equipping the Relay with the Trafficmaster SmartNav. This also includes a handy stolen vehicle tracking - all as standard. The vehivlr is available in 4 lengths and 3 heights.
