| Dispatch 1.6Hdi L1 H1 1000kg Review |
This is an original & impartial Citroen - Dispatch 1.6Hdi L1 H1 1000kg review, compiled by the team at car contract hire online
.
Behind the wheel
The first Citroën Dispatch was a nicet van to sit in, it included a car-like dash design. We think the new model looks even better! Many switches & controls have been used from the Citroen car range. All are clearly marked and very easy to use. Visibility is very good. Air conditioning can be fitted as an option, along with cruise control. A Bluetooth kit can also be added.
On the Road
Customers can choose from a 90bhp, 120bhp & 136bhp versions of the van. The 90bhp version is fitted with a 1.6HDi engine. This is good enough for local multi-drop work. The more powerful engines use a 2.0HDi engine, the 120bhp version should be more than adequate for nearly all jobs. The dispatch still doesn't feel like a large van when driving, however is quite nimble around tight corners.
Overview
We think new Dispatch is better in almost every way than the previous. It is able to carry much heavier loads, has now has choice of 2 wheelbases and 2 roof heights, now offering 3 different cargo capacities. The Dispatch well worth consideration alongside other vans in its class, i.e. Renault Trafic, Mercedes-Benz Vito & VW Transporter.
