Ride & handling
The BMW 3 Series is the sharpest car to drive within its class. Body control & strong grip give it poise through all corners, while the steering is accurate and has a good feel. The firm suspension will make you aware of low-speed bumps but it is never uncomfortable.
Refinement
The BMW 3 Series is a quiet car & makes a great long distance cruiser. Engine noise is always very well isolated and you barely hear it once you are settled on the motorway. Road & suspension noise are always subdued over even the worst road surfaces.
Safety & security
The BMW 3 Series scores well for road safety: twin front, side & curtain airbags, run flat tyres, stability control and electronic brakeforce distribution standard across the whole range. The car was also awarded the maximum five star rating in EURO NCAP crash tests. Also the fitted deadlocks make life difficult for any potential thieves.
